Ben harvesting arugalaRiverside Gardens operates two farms in Southampton and Easthampton. This is an innovative approach to meet the specific career path interests of Riverside participants.

When Mike is working at the Riverside Gardens, he is in his element and feels connected to his familial roots and history. In his "down-time" he works on his screenplay, called the "Nathan Stevens Story" about the goings on in the One Cottage Street factory building decades ago, when it was a suspender factory.

Riverside Gardens' participants are trained in horticultural activities, like:
•Weighing & bagging produce
•Customer Service
•Handling Cash

Riverside Gardens sells its environmentally conscious, fresh, produce to area restaurants, as well the Easthampton Farmers & Makers Market on Saturdays from 10am - 2pm, in the Municipal Building parking lot at 50 Payson Ave in

During the winter months, Riverside Garden participants work in the greenhouse at One Cottage Street growing seedlings & plants, and creating wreaths, swaths & garlands to sell during the holiday season.
